This is a short notice because there is nothing much to say. Plot Trak sets no cookies at all, on this site or in the app. Not advertising, not analytics, not profiling and not even a necessary one.

The app
Plot Trak is a native Android app with no embedded web layer for tracking. It uses no cookies at all and there is no advertising SDK and no analytics SDK inside it.
This website
The site uses no analytics and no advertising cookies, so no consent banner is needed under the Privacy and Electronic Communications Regulations.
Submitting the waitlist form sets no cookie either. I have checked the site as a logged out visitor and it sets zero cookies of any kind, necessary or otherwise. Cookies are only ever set if you log in to the WordPress admin area, which is for me, not for visitors.
How visits are counted without a cookie
I do count how many people read this site, and I want to be plain about it here as well as in the privacy policy, because “I count visits” is exactly the sort of sentence that usually turns out to mean a tracker.
It does not here. The counting happens on my own server, after your browser has already asked for the page. No cookie is set, no script runs, no pixel loads, and nothing is sent to any other company. Your browser is not asked to do one extra thing, and nothing is stored on your device, which is why this page still says what it says and why you are not being shown a consent banner.
Your IP address is never written down. To tell a repeat page view apart from a new visitor within the same day, the address is put through a one-way scramble with the date and a secret that is replaced daily and the old one destroyed. What is left is a short meaningless string. It cannot be turned back into an address, it does not survive the day, and it says nothing about anybody.

You do not have to take my word for it. Cookiebot by Usercentrics scanned plottrak.com and found no cookies and no trackers of any kind. The full report is public.

Third party content
There is none. Web fonts are self hosted on plottrak.com rather than pulled from Google Fonts, so your IP address is not passed to Google or anyone else. The site loads no third party scripts, no embedded videos and no tracking pixels.
Managing cookies
Every major browser lets you block or delete cookies in its settings. Doing so will not stop this site working.
