When does it launch?
Android first, and the beta is close. Join the waitlist and you will get one email on the day it opens. That is the only message we will send you.
Is there an iPhone version?
Not yet. The groundwork exists, but nothing starts on iOS until the Android release is finished and stable.
Do I need an account?
No. There is no sign up, no server and no cloud. Your garden is stored on your phone, which is exactly why backup and export are built into the app.
Does it work without signal?
Yes. Planning, planting, watering and the catalogue all work offline. Live weather is the one thing that needs a connection, and the app carries on without it.
How does the rainfall tracking work?
The app reads live weather for your location and keeps a tally of what has fallen on the plot. Rain resets the watering clock on the crops it reached, and anything sheltered under glass or cover is left on the list, because the shower never got to it.
What is free and what is not?
Everything you need to plan and grow is free, permanently: the 3D planner, the crop catalogue, plantings, watering, weather, backups and reports. Plot Trak Pro, at £12.99 a year with 14 days free, adds Sun Study, soil pH, composting and the decorative model library.
Do you do group or education pricing?
Yes, by enquiry. Schools, councils, gardening societies, allotment associations, community gardens and care settings can license Plot Trak Pro across a group. Email sales@plottrak.com with rough numbers and what you are running, and we will come back with a figure.
If I stop paying for Pro, do I lose my garden?
No. Pro features switch off and everything else stays. Your plots, plantings and years of harvest history are yours, on your phone.
Is it only for the UK?
At launch, yes. Sowing dates, pest treatments and what is legally approved for amateur use all differ by country, so the first release covers the UK properly rather than covering everywhere badly. Other regions are in the works.
How accurate is the pet safety information?
As accurate as the evidence allows, and honest when the evidence is thin. Results read safe, use caution, unsafe, inconclusive or not assessed, each with crop specific reasoning. A crop is never marked safe just to avoid leaving an answer blank.

Plot Trak is for anyone just starting out and anyone already knee deep in it. Plan the plot, keep track of what you have got growing and pick up the growing knowledge as you go. It is built by one person with no advertising budget, so passing it on is the entire marketing department.
