Terms of use
These terms cover your use of the Plot Trak app and this website. By installing the app you accept them. Nothing here affects your statutory rights as a consumer in the UK.

Your licence
We grant you a personal, non exclusive, non transferable licence to install and use Plot Trak on devices you own or control, for your own gardening. You may not copy, resell, decompile or redistribute the app, or strip out its content and republish it.
The free tier and Plot Trak Pro
The core planner and catalogue are free and are intended to stay free. Plot Trak Pro is an optional upgrade at £12.99 a year or £40 once for lifetime access, with a 14 day free trial.
If a subscription lapses, Pro features switch off. The free planner stays open and your plots, plantings and history remain on your device.
Payments, renewals and cancellation
Subscriptions are sold and billed through Google Play, and renew automatically unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the renewal date. Manage or cancel a subscription in your Google Play account.
Under the Consumer Contracts Regulations you have 14 days to change your mind about a digital purchase, unless you have started using it and agreed to waive that right. Refunds are handled by Google Play under their refund policy.
Gardening advice is guidance, not instruction
Sowing dates, companion suggestions, pest treatments and pet safety results are general guidance compiled from published sources for a UK audience. Conditions vary by garden, season and season to season.
Always read and follow the label on any product you apply, and treat pet safety results as a prompt to be careful rather than a veterinary opinion. If you think an animal has eaten something harmful, contact a vet.
Your data is your responsibility
Because there is no cloud, we cannot restore your garden for you. The app takes automatic snapshots and lets you export a backup at any time, and we strongly recommend keeping one off the device. We are not liable for data lost to device failure, loss, theft or uninstalling the app.
Availability and changes
The app is provided as it is. Features may be added, changed or withdrawn, and live weather depends on a third party service that may be unavailable. We will not remove a feature from the free tier and put it behind Pro.
Our liability
Nothing in these terms excludes liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, for fraud, or for anything else that cannot lawfully be excluded. Subject to that, our total liability to you is limited to the amount you have paid us in the twelve months before the claim.
We are not liable for crop failure, plant loss or garden works undertaken on the strength of information in the app.
Ending this agreement
You may stop using Plot Trak at any time by uninstalling it. We may end your licence if you breach these terms, for example by redistributing the app.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales, and the courts of England and Wales have jurisdiction. If you live in Scotland or Northern Ireland you may bring proceedings in your own courts.
